Aunt Mary's House AMH provides a loving, secure home that inspires self-enrichment. Mothers and their babies can appreciate a loving stable-home atmosphere.

Graduates of AMH will gain self-esteem and become empowered to achieve independence and transition to affordable housing. MISSION: Aunt Mary’s House - A safe haven to pregnant and parenting young
mothers to gain opportunities, resources, and knowledge toward becoming self-
sufficient. VISION: Aunt Mary’s House provides emergency and transitional shelter to homeless pregnant women and young mothers

ages 18 and up without judgement. Moms can gain access to prenatal healthcare, childcare, support resources, education, transportation, and counseling. Women will learn how to help themselves and are coached to develop life skills, set career goals, and handle finances. Mothers will be guided to build a strong future towards transitional housing and sustain an independent healthy lifestyle in community. Moms can become empowered to flourish and break the poverty chain.

We LOVE it when our current and former guests reconnect! We work diligently with our guests to help them transition to self-sufficiency and independent living, but our connection doesn't end when they leave our home. We are pleased to stay connected and continue to watch their parenthood journey unfold. Visits are always a plus and we love seeing their little ones together!

UPDATED LOCATION: NORWICH YMCA

We want everyone to know that Aunt Mary's House is here...so we've been out and about in the community! Come join us tomorrow, June 12th from 3:30-6:30 at The Norwich YMCA as we take part in the Safe Summer Fun Days! Try your hand at baby bottle bowling, find out more about Aunt Mary's House and explore the MANY resources we have in our community. A fun afternoon for all!
