🍎🍂 Apple-solutely the BEST kind of fall adventure! 🍂🍎

Our KIDS Program headed to the apple orchard today for a morning filled with fresh air, fall colors, and plenty of apple-picking fun!

From hunting for the perfect apples to filling their bags and exploring the orchard, our kids enjoyed every moment of this sweet fall adventure! 🍏

At The Place, we believe some of the best learning experiences happen beyond the classroom. Opportunities like these encourage exploration, build friendships, and create memories that last long after the apples are gone!

❤️ A little fresh air, a lot of laughter, and bags full of apples — that's a pretty great day!

Join us at Lowe’s in Norwich, NY, on Saturday, October 17th, for a special Fire Safety Awareness Event!

Bring the whole family for an opportunity to meet local firefighters, learn important fire safety tips, and celebrate the dedicated volunteers who help keep our communities safe!

🚒 Meet firefighters from Oxford, North Norwich, Norwich, Sherburne, and New Berlin Fire Departments!

🔥 Learn valuable fire prevention and safety tips.

🌮 Enjoy delicious food from a Mexican food truck and other food vendors!

Fire safety starts with awareness, and we're proud to bring our local fire departments and families together for this important event!

The **Chenango Youth Philanthropy Council** is excited to sponsor the **Chenango County Nonprofit Showcase!**

Comprised of high school students from **Norwich, Otselic Valley, Sherburne-Earlville, and Unadilla Valley**, the Council is bringing together local nonprofits, students, and community members for a morning of learning, networking, and collaboration!

Calling all young entrepreneurs in **grades 4–8!**

The Place is excited to bring the **TREP$ Young Entrepreneurs Program** to Norwich Middle School!

Through this fun, hands-on program, students will:

✅ Learn how to turn a creative idea into a business

✅ Develop a business plan and explore pricing and profits

✅ Design, create, and market their own products

✅ Build confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills

✅ Experience selling their products at a real marketplace!

The Place's FREE Halloween Costume Swap Closet is back, helping local families celebrate Halloween without the added expense of purchasing costumes!

And this year, we're spreading the Halloween fun with TWO locations!

Our adventure begins Monday, November 9th!

Do you love adventure? Have a knack for storytelling? Or just want a fun place to hang out with friends? Then this is YOUR quest! 🗺️

Join us as we launch our very own Dungeons & Dragons Campaign — where imagination runs wild, friendships are forged, and every decision shapes the story!

🎒📚 60 Children Ready for a Great School Year! ✏️

Through The Place’s Back-to-School Supply Distribution, we were able to provide 60 local children and youth with the school supplies they needed to start the year prepared and confident!

We supplied students from UPK, Head Start, Pre-K and Kindergarten through 11th grade, representing schools in Norwich, GMU, Oxford, Afton, and Sherburne.

This effort would not have been possible without the generosity of our wonderful community partners. A very special thank you to Sidney Federal Credit Union, Beyond Earth Foundation, and Southern Tier Connect for helping us make sure local students had the tools they needed for a successful school year.

When our community comes together to support children and families, the impact reaches far beyond a backpack full of supplies. 💙

Thank you for helping The Place make a difference for 60 children and their families!
