On National Grief Awareness Day, we recognize the many ways grief touches our lives and the importance of compassion, connection, and support during times of loss.

At Croí Health, we believe no one should have to navigate loss alone. Through our bereavement program, we provide grief support, group sessions, and resources to help individuals and families through their journey.

We're proud to have several team members, from clinical to administrative roles, who have earned their EOLD certification, integrating these earned skills into the care we provide. This additional training allows employees to expand their knowledge in guiding individuals and families through the end-of-life process.

Kit Schlosky has been a dedicated volunteer with Croí Health for the past two years alongside her husband Mark, bringing immense comfort and joy to countless patients.

While recently visiting the Pat Roche Hospice Home, Kit learned a patient was waiting for the third book in a favorite trilogy. Kit took it upon herself to pick up the book from the library and personally deliver it back to the patient the same day, an act of kindness that deeply impacted the patient, who later wrote a thank you card calling her “the volunteer of the year!”

Our 14-bed Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham is honored to provide a dignified and peaceful environment for residents facing a life-limiting illness.
