NVNA and Hospice is a home healthcare agency whose non-profit mission is to provide quality home care, wellness, and public health services in the community. NVNA and Hospice also operates NVNA WORKS as a private caregiving division. This page is designed to be a place where members of the NVNA and Hospice community – or those who live in any one of our nearly 30 service communities on the South Shore and beyond – gather to learn about our services and offerings, as well as be kept up to date on general health news of interest to the public. Liz McKeen, NP-C, EOLD, Croí Health Senior Advanced Practitioner of Hospice Clinical Practice and Amanda Pedretti, RN, EOLD, Croí Health Hospice RN joined this month’s segment on 95.9 WATD FM.

Listeners heard how being an end-of-life doula factors into their roles at Croí Health, formerly NVNA and Hospice. "An end-of-life doula is a thread that can weave all of the disciplines together," Liz said. "If people are living with a lot of unprocessed emotions or spiritual uncertainty, that can affect their experience of dying— it can be very fearful. Something that an end-of-life doula can help with is addressing certain processes with people to look at those aspects of their life to help them work through it and get to a place where they can have a gentler entry."

Last week, Croí Health (formerly NVNA and Hospice) celebrated our move to our new office at 141 Longwater Drive, Suite 210 in Norwell.

This new space provides the room we need to continue to grow, strengthen our team, and ultimately serve more patients and families with the compassionate, five-star care they deserve. We are grateful for the philanthropic generosity that supports our mission to expand patient care access in our community.

We were honored to officially rename our hospice home in honor of Barbara and Pat Roche. We thank the Roche family for their incredible generosity, supporting our mission, patients, and their families.

"Adding Barbara's name next to Pat's, and to officially rename our hospice residence the Barbara and Pat Roche Hospice Home, is an incredible honor for us," celebrated Croí Health CEO Renee McInnes.
