Toiletries are some of the items we need most often in our Community Closet. Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant and other everyday essentials may seem small, but they’re things everyone needs everyday.

And because these items go quickly, keeping our shelves stocked is an ongoing need.

A huge thank you to Alloy, and Ben Ross, and everyone who contributed to this incredible drive. You definitely helped fill our shelves! 💚🧡

A little rain (okay… a lot of rain!) wasn’t going to stop this group from showing up!

This weekend, members of Green's Farms Church joined us as part of their Service Sunday, spending the day volunteering with organizations throughout Norwalk, Westport, and Bridgeport.

We were so happy to have them spend part of their day with us, working alongside our team and supporting our mission, even with the storm outside!

Thank you, Green’s Farms Church, for showing up, pitching in, and choosing Open Doors as one of the places to give your time. We’re so grateful to have you in our community! 💚🧡

🏠 Applications are coming soon for 24 Berkeley Street!

Open Doors is excited to announce that applications for our newly constructed, deeply affordable three-bedroom townhomes in Norwalk will be available beginning October 8, 2026.

There is no application fee, and income and occupancy restrictions apply. Households must meet income eligibility requirements at or below 30% of Area Median Income (AMI).

Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, so please review the application dates, eligibility requirements, and instructions carefully.
