August 6th...Oatie is living her best life. She gets to run and root at her hearts content.

Here are some fun facts about Oatie...
She is a Yorkshire pig. She knows her name and generally comes when she is called. She likes her people and is cautious of strangers. But, once you spend a little time with her and give her belly rubs, you'll be her best friend. 🩷🐽

On July 1st, we welcomed our first pig to our sanctuary. Prior to coming to us, the vet believed she fell off a transport truck moving her from the weaning facility. 🥺
She will live out the rest of her life in sanctuary knowing love and kindness. We only wish every pig were able to experience this beautiful thing called life. 🩷
For those that know me personally, a majority of my animals not only have first names, but middle names, too! Please meet Oatmeal Pua, or Oatie for short.
