Earlier this month, the Washington Post reported that the Trump administration is set to spend $900 million on construction for the White House ballroom, and at least half of that would come out of taxpayer money.

It's back-to-school season, and many teachers fund classroom items out of their own pockets.

We need U.S. taxpayer dollars to support our education system, not an expensive ballroom project.
