A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our 40th Mannaversary celebration last night! As our Executive Director, Niki Lankowski, beautifully put it, “You are our lifeline!” Together, we raised over $150,000, a testament to your incredible generosity and support.
As our guests last night, you not only celebrated with us but also helped support Manna’s mission!

Phew! We have been so busy with our Mannaversary we forgot to mention DAF Day!

What is a DAF?
A Donor-Advised Fund lets you make a charitable gift, receive an immediate tax deduction, and warmly recommend grants to your favorite nonprofits like Manna! Think of it as a personal giving account dedicated to doing good!

Setting One Up Is Easy!
Opening a DAF through a financial institution or community foundation is very straightforward. You can add cash or assets like stocks, and then choose the nonprofits you’d love to support.

Here’s a little menu tease…

Masa Mexicano: Fresh tortillas made to order, taco bar featuring grilled chicken with bacon, ranch, pickled white onion, and cilantro, as well as barbacoa with white onion and cilantro. Don't forget the guacamole, queso fresco, pickled jalapeño, and cilantro to top it off!

Paul and Elizabeth’s: Polenta croutons with whipped blue cheese, local honey, and fresh herbs, along with falafel served with tzatziki and fresh dill!

Augustine’s Pizza Club: Delight in pizzas cooked in the outdoor pizza oven, options are margherita, rossa, and bianca. The pizza is so popular it usually sells out, so don’t miss out on this!

We 🧡 a glean team! What is gleaning? Gleaning is the sustainable tradition of collecting leftover crops from farmers’ fields and markets after they have been harvested or sold. Gleaning helps reduce food waste and ensures that perfectly good produce reaches places like Manna so we can incorporate them in our meals for our guests.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of Rachel’s Table, Grow Food Northampton, our community gardens, and HEC Academy. Thanks to their efforts, we have received an abundance of fresh produce this week including apples, veggies, and a LOT of watermelon! A true community effort!

Hello Northampton! We are thrilled to announce that Northampton Shelter Sunday is celebrating 35 incredible years of community support! This year, we're raising funds for three remarkable organizations: Manna Community Kitchen, Hampshire Support Alliance, and our newest partner, St. John's Episcopal Church. These organizations work tirelessly to care for the unhoused in our community.
In 2025, St. John's opened an emergency shelter to protect those who are shelter-resistant, especially during extreme cold. Such an incredible achievement! As we commemorate 35 years of supporting our most vulnerable neighbors, we invite you to join us in making a difference.
Our goal is to raise $30,000, to be split equally among these amazing organizations. While we each have unique roles, we all support one another and together, we strive to uplift our community. Your generous contributions will not only provide more food and essential services but also support staff who are crucial during the winter months.
