Did you know that Manna Community Kitchen started in the basement of St. John's Church 40 years ago? That's right! It all began with offering free meals on Sundays, and since then, we've grown to provide quality free meals five days a week to our community!

Manna has become a special place, fostering a sense of belonging and support. We are incredibly proud of the work we've accomplished alongside St. John's Episcopal Church, Northampton, MA and Edwards Church of Northampton our dedicated staff, board of directors, volunteers, amazing community partners, and supporters. It's a true testament to what we can achieve together. Come join us on October 14th to celebrate! 🧡

We announce with deep gratitude that Carl Erikson is retiring from Manna’s Board of Directors after nearly 35 years of service and 30 years as Manna’s Board President. Carl and his wife Lynda have been unwavering supporters, crucial to our mission’s growth. As a devoted family man and parishioner of Edwards Church, Carl’s kindness and service have touched many lives. His presence at our meetings will be missed, but his impact endures. We thank Carl for his dedication and wish him and Lynda the very best as we continue to embody their love and compassion for our community. 🧡

Due to an event at St. John’s Church, we’re moving our Community Center to Edwards Church at 297 Main St. tomorrow, Saturday, August 1st. We’ll be there from 11 AM to 1 PM

What We’re Offering: Drop-in space and a delicious sandwich lunch
While our services will be limited tomorrow (no showers or laundry), we’re thrilled to still provide a cozy spot to gather and enjoy a meal. See you then! 🧡
