Yun-Yun shares, “The reason that farming is special to me is that it puts me in relationship to other people and to the earth in a very direct and extreme way, where I'm so intimately partnering with other living things. Fundamentally, soil health is about honoring the community of microorganisms that sustain us and recognizing that we are sustained by this incredible complex web of beings that we can't see,” Yun-Yun continued, “and that's very humbling.”

All interested in farming and farmland are invited to join the conversation! Ag Commission members, farmers, other town officials, ag resource providers, land trusts, interested citizens etc.

Please come for a discussion about strengthening Ag Comms, new powers of Ag Comms, important roles Ag Comms can play, farmland protection, and municipal partnerships for land conservation and farm viability.

We have a lot of favorite days of the year, but Massachusetts Ag Day at the State House is up there! Our team was busy all day Wednesday sharing resources, giving out our swag, and meeting with our legislators on policy issues critical to our farmers. And seeing those Future Farmers of America youth on the steps always makes us teary-eyed 😭❤️

Tomorrow come find us at the Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition annual conference at UMass Amherst!
