All But Furgotten All But Furgotten is a 501c3, Non Profit Humane Animal Rescue. We are very passionate about the plight of puppy mill dogs. Most Humane Officers are VOLUNTEERS.

Who we are and what we do:

We are committed to helping animals who are the victims of cruelty and neglect. We have rescued several dogs from Amish puppy mills and plan to continue to rehabilitate dogs who would have otherwise been “disposed of” once they were of no use to them. With the acquisition of a kennel we will be assisting animal control so that unwanted and unclaimed animals can be treated medically, evaluated, and when appropriate, be placed in loving homes. We currently have three VOLUNTEER Humane Society Police Officers. Many people don’t realize that although the PA Crimes Code includes a section, 5532 subsection C, addressing cruelty and neglect, humane work is NOT funded with tax dollars. Most also work full or part time and have to respond to calls after work and on their days off. They miss work and sacrifice time with their own families in order to enforce the law. It is the sole responsibility of their non profit organization to pay for all veterinary care, costs of kenneling, and court costs. Essentially, by sponsoring a Humane Police Officer, we are providing a service to the community and the animals. We have a Search and Rescue Division that is devoted to helping owners find and when needed, humanely trap their pets so that they can be safely returned to their families.

🐾 CeDe Update ❤️

Remember the sweet girl who was left alone for at least three days after her owner was incarcerated?

**Her name is CeDe.** ❤️

When CeDe first came into our care, she was absolutely terrified. She didn't understand where she was, who these new people were, or what was happening to her world.

But we're starting to see a change. 🥹

**CeDe is eating, beginning to relax, and slowly warming up.** Each day, she seems a little more comfortable and a little less afraid.

Noone is rushing her. We're letting CeDe set the pace and showing her that she's safe, she's cared for, and she doesn't have to be scared anymore.

Sometimes rescue isn't about an instant transformation. Sometimes it's about celebrating the little things—a meal eaten, a relaxed body, or that first little sign of trust.

**Keep going, CeDee. You're safe now.** 🐾❤️

🐾 Tonight’s Rescue

Tonight, we received a call from **Monessen PD** about a dog who had been left behind after their owner was incarcerated.

Neighbors reported that the pup had been **alone for at least three days**. They had heard barking coming from the home—but today, they heard nothing. Worried that something might be wrong, they made the call.

Thankfully, the pup was found to be **in good physical health, but absolutely terrified.** 💔

After contact was made with the owner, the decision was made to **surrender the pup into our care.**

Tonight, this scared little one is no longer alone. No more wondering if someone is coming back. No more days spent waiting behind a closed door.

**Tonight, this pup is safe.** ❤️🐾

A huge thank you to the concerned neighbors who paid attention and spoke up, and to Monessen PD for making sure this little one got the help they needed.

Sometimes, making one phone call really can change a life.

Our wish is that all police departments would make sure that animals are taken care for upon incarceration.

# # # 🐾 OCTOBER IS PIT BULL AWARENESS MONTH 🐾

For the entire month of October, we want to celebrate the dogs who are so often **judged by their appearance before anyone takes the time to know their heart.** ❤️

Pit bull-type dogs can be goofy, affectionate, loyal, playful, sensitive, and incredibly loving. Like every dog, each one is an individual—with their own personality, history, needs, and quirks.

Many of the dogs who come through our doors didn't choose their circumstances. Some have experienced neglect. Some have spent far too long in kennels. Some are still learning how to trust, how to play, and simply **how to be a dog.**

This month, we ask you to look beyond the label.

🐾 **Meet the dog.**
🐾 **Learn their story.**
🐾 **Give them a chance.**
🐾 **Educate instead of discriminate.**

**They are more than a breed label. They are individuals deserving of love, patience, safety, and a home.** 💙

Mozzarella by name, melting hearts by nature🧀🩶

This approximately 9 month old petite girl is the whole package! Mozzarella is very outgoing and friendly who loves just about anyone she meets🐈‍⬛

She is full of cheesy-character, never failing to make her foster parents laugh… you can commonly find her with her tongue hanging out of her mouth🤣

One of Mozzarella’s favorite activities is playing with her foster brother Nike. She would love another playful sibling in her furever home. She is also dog friendly!🐾

🐾 A Little Puppy Update ❤️
Remember the puppies who were surrendered to us last week?

We are so happy to share that the two who remained with us are gaining weight and getting stronger every day! One of the puppies was at serious risk for refeeding syndrome, so his meals had to be carefully managed as his little body adjusted to receiving proper nutrition again. We’re relieved to say that he is now over that critical hump and eating the amount he should be. ❤️‍🩹

But one of the sweetest parts of their recovery has been watching them discover something every puppy should know…

How to PLAY. 🥹🐾

They are learning what toys are. They’re learning that life can be fun, that meals will keep coming, and that they are safe.

They still have healing to do, but every pound gained, every full belly, and every toy played with is a little victory.

Keep going, babies. Your new life has only just begun. ❤️🐶🐶
