Afterwards, we were honored to attend the Valley Dairy Restaurant’s VIP Grand Opening Celebration and let us tell you firsthand, the food was all phenomenal! This is a welcomed addition to our community and we encourage everyone to check them out Tuesday for their official grand opening at 7am!

It’s been a busy 2 days for our volunteers. Thursday brought in 3 runs; a first due fire alarm, a gas leak in North Huntingdon, and a dryer fire in Hempfield in which the Engine took up the first due engine assignment. Friday our volunteers made our 2nd visit to The Goddard School where we demonstrated equipment and taught fire safety to over 100 children. While that was going on, we maintained a crew in station prepping for Saturday’s hoagie sale and took in an additional Rescue run into Manor.
