At Slate School, 9th grade is about uncovering questions and learning deeply. We're looking for a 9th Grade educator who believes that students learn best when they are trusted to investigate meaningful questions, make connections across disciplines, and demonstrate their learning in authentic ways.

*Believes students become historians by investigating the past through primary sources, analyzing evidence, and developing their own historical interpretations.
*Designs learning where writing is a tool for thinking, inquiry, and storytelling.
*Cultivates a classroom where discussion, questioning, collaboration, and reflection are central to learning.
