The Purr Project, Inc. CT all volunteer foster based rescue - 501c3 🐈 Adopt 🐾Volunteer 🐾 Foster with US!

Because we are based at New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine, The Purr Project specifically focuses on those cats that have illnesses, injuries, or other conditions but still deserve to be saved. Because of our mission, almost 80% of our expenditures are for medical expenses. As a 501(c)3 non profit, we depend on the generosity of the public to pay those bills. As a Kitty Klub member, cats that would normally be euthanized will get the chance at the happy life that they deserve.

🚨Bonnie was LOST on June 7, 2026 in New Haven, CT 06513 near Lexington Ave. between Eldridge St. New Haven Ct.

💬 Owner's Message: "Hi, my name is Tania. Sadly, my little cat Bonnie went missing on the afternoon of Sunday, June 7th. She is like a daughter to me; since I adopted her, she has been a fundamental part of my family, becoming a beloved member who filled our home with joy. We are currently very sad and distressed not knowing where she is, so I am turning to the entire New Haven community for help finding her or for any information about her. Her little brother misses her and is suffering greatly; we all hope to have her back home. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope for your support. Thank you very much. 🩷"

Po Boy and his siblings were fortunate to be rescued shortly after birth and cared for by Sarah their wonderful foster Momma.

She was able to give them the love & attention they needed to grow up to be strong, healthy & social kittens.

Now it’s our job to get Po Boy to his forever home. If you can’t adopt, please share this post, it helps more than you know.
