What could you do with just one hour a week?

For our AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP volunteers, that hour means a friendly phone call, a ride to a doctor's appointment, a handwritten letter to a student pen pal, or a visit that brightens someone's day. 🧡

No special skills needed, just a desire to share your time and energy with your community.

Did you know some common vitamins and supplements can interfere with your medications?đź’Š

Certain supplements may affect how well blood thinners, thyroid medications, and other prescriptions work. And because supplements aren't approved by the FDA before they're sold, "natural" doesn't always mean safe.

Learn which interactions to watch for and how to be a smart, informed consumer in our latest article: https://www.aoascc.org/news/vitamins-and-supplements-and-minerals-and-herbs/

As always, talk with your health care provider before starting any new supplement.
