On Wednesday June 11th the Elm City Kennel Club presented Tony Pinto with the AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award medallion at our Summer Picnic held at the Anderson's house. Tony has been a LONG time member of ECKC and has helped at every event in some way whether it be set up, break down, cooking (yay), stewarding, or anything that needs to be done. He has served on the board for many years and has been a regular steward at almost every show held at the Big E as well as other shows throughout New England. Tony has always been ready to help with whatever needs to be done.

The AKC offers member clubs the opportunity to present this award to a deserving club member on an annual basis. In 2007 Kurt Anderson was presented the award in recognition of his many years of service to our club and our sport and we continue to benefit from Kurt's involvement. We look forward to having Tony at our events for many more years as well.
