Today North Haven Professional Firefighters Association L2987 along with New Haven Elks Lodge 25 located here in North Haven, distributed over 1500 glow-sticks & lanyards to each elementary school in town.

It’s always been our combined mission to keep our children safe during the Halloween season! These items are intended to be used while our kids are out enjoying their trick-or-treat festivities!

So drivers and residents, keep your eyes out for groups of kids staying safe and having fun!

Pictured is various children from the 4 schools, Lt. Jason Cusack, FF Billy Crisci, Elks ER Patricia Macolino

25 years ago today the world as we know it was changed forever. The significance of today will forever be imbedded in the history of our world and the fire service.
Today we remember those lost on that tragic day. The families broken, friends lost, a nation forever changed. To those 343 firefighters that made the ultimate sacrifice that day and to those we have lost since due to 9/11 related illnesses.

We carry your memory, your legacy, and we will NEVER FORGET.

One year ago today we said goodbye to our brother, John Bysko.

John was taken from us suddenly and way too soon. We honor him for the 14 years he served the North Haven Fire Department and Local 2987. We remember John for his unique sense of humor and passion for the job.

We love and miss you, brother.
