The Goodness of the Lord (AKA, Getting Mooned by God)
Third Sunday of Stewardship | Exodus 33:12–23 (NRSVUE)

What does it mean to know God’s presence and experience God’s goodness—even when we cannot see the whole picture?

Join us for worship at 11:00 AM as we explore Moses’ encounter with God and the promise of God’s presence along the journey.

As we celebrate the third Sunday of Stewardship, we’ll reflect on how God’s goodness surrounds us, sustains us, and calls us to respond with faithful hearts and generous lives.

Whether you’re worshiping with us in person or online, there’s a place for you here!

Come and discover the goodness of the Lord—and what it means to live in the light of God’s presence.

Join us for worship at Faith United Methodist Church!

When the people grew impatient, they turned away from the God who had brought them out of Egypt and placed their trust in something they could see and touch. In Exodus 32:1–14, we are reminded how easily our priorities can shift—and how faithfully God continues to call us back.

As we continue our stewardship journey, we’ll reflect on what we place at the center of our lives, where we put our trust, and how we can respond to God’s faithfulness with hearts willing to give.

Whether you’re joining us in person or online, you are welcome here!

Come worship with us as we seek to put our trust in the God who is always faithful.

More Than Enough: Our Gifts in Motion
Exodus 35:4–5a, 10–11a, 21–22, 25; 36:2–7

What happens when we each bring what we have to offer?

In Exodus, the people brought their gifts, their skills, and their willing hearts to build something for God. And they brought so much that there was more than enough!

As we begin our stewardship season, we’ll reflect on how God works through the gifts we share — our time, our talents, our resources, and our willingness to serve. Stewardship is about more than what we give; it’s about how we put our gifts in motion to make a difference in the lives of others.

Join us for worship, in person or online, as we celebrate the many ways God provides through a generous and faithful community.

There is more than enough when we bring our gifts together.

World Communion Sunday - 10:00 AM

This Sunday, we gather as one family of faith — celebrating Holy Communion with Christians around the world.

We are especially glad to welcome our friends from Yalesville United Methodist Church as we worship together at Faith UMC.

Whether you with us in person or joining online, you are invited to the table — a table that reminds us that God’s love reaches across communities, cultures, and boundaries that might separate us.

Service starts at 10:00 AM with a Potluck fellowship following worship.

Come as you are. There is a place for you at the table.

We’re glad you’re worshiping with us!

Water from a Rock

What do we do when the well runs dry and the way forward seems impossible?

In the wilderness, God provided water from a rock, reminding the people that even in their moments of doubt and need, they were not forgotten.

Join us this Sunday, at 11am as we explore Exodus 17:1–7 and Psalm 78 and discover what it means to trust in the God who provides, even in the driest places of life.

We’d love to worship with you, in person or online!

A great event for a great cause!

Come out to Yalesville United Methodist Church on October 3rd to get your pet blessed and help us collect food and toy donations for the Wallingford Animal Shelter.

God gives us daily bread, not daily worry. Of course, that doesn’t mean we don’t worry… we’re human!

Exodus 16 reminds us that God provided what the Israelites needed one day at a time.
Maybe that’s a good reminder for us, too. We don’t have to figure out tomorrow today. One day at a time, trusting God along the way. ❤️
