National Weather Association Foundation The National Weather Association Foundation was founded by the National Weather Association (NWA) in 2016.

To support meteorology students and educators with financial assistance, encouragement and recognition; to create opportunities for public awareness and engagement for resilience to high impact weather. The Foundation’s purpose is to collect and disperse funds that will: support college and university students in meteorology and related fields; assist K-12 educators in developing and offering weat

her-related educational programs; and support other organizations engaged in offering education on weather related topics. NWA scholarships and grants originating in the NWA are being transferred to the Foundation, which accepts tax deductible donations. National Weather Association Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN:81-4218870). Contributions made to the Foundation may be deductible as a charitable contribution. Thank you for your interest in the Foundation and for donating to its programs.
