Be prepared just in case.

Make sure microchip information is updated.

Collars on with tags. Pet carriers ready to go and food and water set aside in case you lose utilities or have to leave your home temporarily.

The tornado risk is increasing across parts of Oklahoma, north Texas and Kansas, with both Oklahoma City and Tulsa now included in the heightened risk area.

Review your severe weather plan NOW, before storms arrive later today and continue into the overnight hours. Have multiple ways to receive warnings - including alerts loud enough to wake you - and know exactly where you’ll shelter if a tornado warning is issued‼️

You all remember our sweet Bixby?
His Mom sent us a pic of him dressed in his Halloween costume.
“Yes!! Of course. I love this dog so much. He is the most affectionate and playful dog I’ve ever had in my life! He’s the best!! “

May we present the sweet gentleman Bixby as Hercules from The Sandlot.

Hanna in her most recent designer attire.

She’s got a tender paw, just trying to keep her from being too curious about it.

Hanna is making forward progress with socializing and trust. She’s not there yet but absolutely making progress, slow but steady.

Thank you Dogwood Pet Services for taking grand care of our girl.

💕 Lala is ready for adoption! 💕

Lala is a tiny Pomeranian with a big personality, and her foster believes she’s ready to find her person.

She will need an adopter willing to give her a slow, patient two to three weeks to settle in and build trust. Once she feels safe, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She now seeks out attention and is comfortable being handled, touched, brushed and bathed.

Lala has that typical sassy Pom attitude and a bark that apparently sounds exactly the same whether she’s excited or annoyed 😂 Her adopter should be comfortable with a vocal little dog who isn’t shy about sharing her opinions.

A few things to know about Lala:

🐾 She is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on her vaccinations.

🐾 She would do best as the only dog. She wasn’t raised with other dogs and would need time, patience and proper introductions to adjust to living with them. She currently barks at other dogs but retreats if they come too close, so she appears more unsure than aggressive.

🐾 She does well in her kennel when she needs to be crated, but she can also be trusted loose in the house.

🐾 She is trained to use potty pads and will also potty outside. With consistent outdoor breaks, she may eventually be able to transition away from the pads.

🐾 She is very excited about breakfast every morning.

🐾 She enjoys affection and does well with bathing and brushing.

Lala needs someone who understands that trust takes time. Give her those first few quiet weeks to decompress and learn that she is safe, and you’ll have a loving, funny and wonderfully sassy little companion.

Adoption fee: $180
