PTSD affects millions of people, including veterans, first responders, survivors of abuse, accidents, natural disasters, and countless others whose experiences may never be visible to the outside world.

Trauma does not always look the way people expect. Sometimes it appears as anxiety, irritability, exhaustion, emotional numbness, difficulty trusting others, or simply struggling to feel safe in the world again.

This month, we encourage awareness, compassion, and understanding. Healing is possible, and no one should have to walk that journey alone.

If you or someone you care about is living with the effects of trauma, know that support is available and recovery is possible.
