The mission of Wreaths Across America is to Remember, Honor, and Teach.

Our local chapter is committed to sharing the stories of our local veterans - not only at our events, but also through community displays like this recent exhibit at the Niceville Library. By preserving and sharing these stories, we help ensure that the sacrifices and services of our nation's heroes are never forgotten.

Is there a local veteran in your family whose story deserves to be remembered? Share their name in the comments so we can honor them together.

Did you know that our local Wreaths Across America chapter participates in events throughout the year? Recently the team joined the Vietnam Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony. This special event, held each year in recognition of National Vietnam War Veterans Day, serves as an opportunity to honor the service and sacrifice of Vietnam veterans and their families—many of whom did not receive the welcome home they deserved decades ago.

Our 2026 theme draws inspiration from an unexpected source: a line from the film “Home Alone 2.” The quote, “Maybe they don't forget about you, but they forget to remember you,” underscores the importance of actively remembering the individuals who served, especially those whose stories risk being lost to time.

We want to hear from you: Who is an individual who served our country, but time may have forgotten? If you have a story to share, please click the link below to add it to our gallery.
