Asher's Hope Giving families the gift of time by fundraising to supply CuddleCots for our local hospitals A Cuddlecot is a small cooling unit fitted inside a bassinet.

In 2018, my youngest son Asher was given a life-limiting diagnosis halfway through my pregnancy. We were told that he would either pass away before birth or shortly thereafter. A few friends of ours created a fundraiser for a Cuddlecot for our family. A Cuddle Cot gives families the ultimate gift: the gift of time, allowing for their precious children to be at their bedside during their hospital s

tay. Asher was stillborn at 36 weeks. During our stay in the hospital, we were blessed with 2.5 days with Asher when we would likely have had only had a few hours. This was all because of the availability of our Cuddlecot. A Cuddlecot allows grieving parents to bond with their babies and make memories that they wouldn't otherwise have been able to do, and this is an essential step to the grieving process for hurting parents. As we left Sacred Heart in Pensacola, we donated Asher’s Cuddlecot to help future parents in need. At that moment, it was the only Cuddlecot in the area. My goal through effort is to continue Asher’s legacy by making sure our local hospitals are equipped with a Cuddlecot; if parents are faced with the unimaginable, they can have the choice of more time. Apologies for the delay on our big news…

We are so blessed to be able to gift our 8th CuddleCot to Baptist Health Care in Pensacola!

The generous mamas of Crosspoint MOPS made it their goal to raise enough money to purchase a CuddleCot and they did it! What an amazing gift they will give to others.

This CuddleCot is special because this will complete our Emerald Coast hospitals. Each hospital with an L&D unit in Bay (HCA FL Gulf Coast), Walton (Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast), Okaloosa (Eglin, HCA FL Fort Walton, North Okaloosa Medical Center), Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa Medical Center), and Escambia (Ascension Sacred a heart Pensacola, HCA FL West, Baptist Health Care) counties will now be equipped with a CuddleCot.
