🏆THE ROAD TO THE 2027 TAYLOR HAUGEN TROPHY BEGINS!

We’re gearing up to find our 2027 Taylor Haugen Trophy recipient!

Each year, the Taylor Haugen Foundation recognizes an exceptional high school senior who embodies the character, leadership, dedication, and heart that defined Taylor Reid Haugen.

So, how does the selection process work?

🏈STEP 1: SCHOOL NOMINATIONS**

High schools in Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton counties are invited to nominate ONE outstanding senior student-athlete who meets the following criteria:

✅ Participated in an FHSAA-sanctioned high school sport
✅ Minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA and 3.5 weighted GPA
✅ Actively involved in community service
✅ Plans to attend an accredited four-year college or university
✅ Is not an immediate family member of a THF Executive Committee member or scholarship judge

📋STEP 2: REVIEW & EVALUATION

Once nomination packets are submitted, our Taylor Haugen Trophy Voting Committee carefully reviews each nominee, evaluating their academic achievements, athletic involvement, leadership, character, and commitment to serving others.

⭐STEP 3: SELECTING OUR 2027 RECIPIENT

After the evaluation process, one deserving student-athlete is selected to receive the prestigious Taylor Haugen Trophy, along with a $1,000 scholarship!

The Taylor Haugen Trophy is about so much more than athletic accomplishments. It celebrates young leaders who make a positive impact in their schools, on their teams, and throughout their communities.

What an incredible day! Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday for Taylor’s Tailgate Low Country Shrimp Boil! We are so grateful for our amazing community and the love and support you continue to show the Taylor Haugen Foundation.
From the delicious shrimp boil and live music to the raffle prizes, face painting, photo booth, and fellowship, it was a day filled with fun, community, and a whole lot of heart! 💛

The Taylor Haugen Foundation honors the life and legacy of Taylor Haugen by supporting young athletes through sports safety, scholarships, and the annual Taylor Haugen Trophy. We are proud to share the Traveling Trophy at Ruckel and help carry forward Taylor’s message: “Don’t Quit…Never Give Up.”
