18 years ago today, Kathy & Brian, along with the Niceville community, experienced an unimaginable loss when Taylor was taken from us in a tragic accident.

Today, Taylor’s legacy continues to make an impact.

Through the Taylor Haugen Foundation, we have now helped outfit more than 7,500 secondary youth athletes with the EvoShield Rib Shirt, giving athletes an added layer of protection against abdominal injuries.

And just this year alone, we’ve been blessed to outfit 4 teams—helping provide protection, education, and awareness to even more young athletes.

Taylor is the reason we continue to do what we do. His story reminds us why sports safety matters, and his legacy inspires us to make sure other families don’t have to experience the same heartbreak.

18 years later, Taylor’s impact is still protecting athletes and inspiring lives.

In 2008, Taylor Haugen passed away from an abdominal injury sustained while playing football for Niceville High School. In his short 15 ½ years, Taylor Reid Haugen left an indelible mark on the community through his living faith and compassion for his friends, team, community, organizations and church. We are proud to be able to have a display dedicated to the Taylor Haugen foundation here at our shop. Through his legacy the foundation has promoted community support, scholarships and providing abdominal protection for student athletes across the country. We are so thankful for the education that they bring and will continue to bring on safety.
