WIN - Women Involved in Newtown

We are a non-profit organization made up of Newtown women working together to support our community Yearly dues are $25.

We are a group of Newtown women that meet once a month Sept- May at the Newtown Community Center or a member's home. We partner together with social services and other organizations in town to identify and assist individuals and families in need. We also like to volunteer our time as a group when opportunities come up throughout the year. You can participate in WIN as much or as little as your sch

WIN ended our year volunteering at 🦋Catherine’s Butterfly Party & at our adopted space at CVHAS 🌱gardens. We also enjoyed some fun and relaxation at our garden party!

The 10th Annual CATHERINE'S BUTTERFLY PARTY is today from 12-4pm at the Fairfield Hills Campus. Invite your family and friends to attend this free family festival and pet adoption. This is truly a special event you don’t want to miss! 🦋❤️🐾

🍕🥗 Come on over to My Place! This Thursday, May 21st, mention WIN during lunch or dinner -dining in or take-out) and My Place will donate 20% to WIN!! Get a break from cooking and a household in need receives help - a WIN WIN for all!

We will use this to support all of our good deeds throughout the community: Thanksgiving meals, Easter baskets, sponsoring families for Christmas, Sue Rubino Scholarship, Great Pumpkin Challenge, and so much more!

A huge THANK YOU to the Newtown Football Team for coming out on this wet Saturday morning to help WIN mulch the native gardens at the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary! We (and our backs) REALLY appreciate their help. Bravo, guys!

WIN gathered for our long standing tradition of making Easter Baskets for children in our local community. This year we made 170 baskets that will be distributed within Newtown through Human Services and the Children’s Adventure Center. Many thanks to everyone who donated to this outreach. A special thank you to Anna for allowing us to use her space for the assembling of the baskets and storing supplies.

A good time was had at Maplewood Senior Living playing Bingo! WIN members organized an afternoon activity for residents to play bingo, win prizes and enjoy some fresh baked goods. It was a fun time socializing and getting to know some of the seniors. Thank you Farrah from Maplewood, for helping us with this outreach. We look forward to planning another visit.

WIN- Women Involved in Newtown is getting ready for our Annual Easter Basket Outreach. Every year we provide over 150 Easter Baskets to children in Newtown through Human Services, The Adventure Center and The Newtown Community Center. All of our outreaches rely on the support of fellow organizations, businesses and individuals in town to be successful. Please consider making a donation to help support those in our local community.
