"Newtown Area Residents CAN Save Lives" is a community group dedicated to saving lives by ensuring that our Newtown Borough Police are enabled to carry NARCAN. We are currently facing an unprecedented Opiod epidemic in our area that is taking away too many lives and it is imperative that all of pour first responders are equipped with the life-saving drug NARCAN in order to reverse the deadly effec

ts of an opiod overdose at the scene and save a life. Currently, the Newtown Borough Police Department is the only Police Department in all of Bucks County, out of 54 municipalities, that does not permit it's officers to carry NARCAN. We believe that everybody has a right to the best life-saving treatment available and ask residents to join together and encourage our Mayor and Borough Council members to do the right thing and allow our Police to carry NARCAN. Every Life Matters!!
