Welcome to TAP Boston - Leadership, Identity, Networking, Community.

Last month, TAP-BOS joined fellow TAP chapters from across the country in Seattle for the annual TACL National Convention, bringing together Taiwanese American community leaders for a weekend of collaboration, leadership development, and knowledge sharing. From brainstorming new event ideas and exploring fundraising strategies to sharing experiences in navigating challenging situations and managing volunteer teams, the convention offered valuable opportunities to learn from one another, exchange best practices, and bring fresh ideas back to our local community. We returned inspired and energized to continue strengthening TAP-BOS and serving the Taiwanese American community in Boston!

**Want to make an impact, build meaningful connections, and grow as a leader? Join the TAP-BOS community!** We welcome passionate individuals who want to contribute their ideas, develop new skills, and help create opportunities for Taiwanese American professionals in Greater Boston. Get involved and be part of our journey!

Last weekend, after an early morning of volunteering at the Rice Sticks & Tea Food Pantry at Arlington Street Church, current and incoming TAP-BOS Board members gathered at the W Boston for a well-deserved breakfast and great conversation.

We also took the opportunity to thank Ed Merced for his service as TAP-BOS Treasurer and wish him and his family all the best as they prepare to welcome their first baby girl in July. Congratulations, Ed, we are excited for this wonderful new chapter in your life!

At the same time, we were delighted to welcome Jane Shan to the TAP-BOS Board. We look forward to her contributions as we continue advancing TAP’s mission of empowering the Taiwanese-American community through professional development, networking, and leadership opportunities.
