Weekend Event 2 of 2 [AAPI Night with the New England Revolution @ Gillette Stadium]

It was all about connecting with the community last Saturday! Following Newton Taiwan Day, TAP-BOS wasted no time and drove to the Gillette stadium to be part of the New England Revolution’s AAPI Night, joining a vibrant celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage in the New England community. The event brought together diverse organizations and supporters to recognize cultural contributions while fostering visibility and inclusion.

As part of the event, TAP-BOS was proud to ensure Taiwan was represented, highlighting Taiwanese culture and identity within the broader AAPI community. Additionally, we also shared our mission of serving the greater Taiwanese American community and those interested in the Taiwanese heritage, once again highlighting our ongoing efforts to build meaningful connections through professional, social, cultural, and community programming.

Weekend Event 1 of 2 [Newton Taiwan Day]

Last weekend, TAP-BOS has the pleasure to set-up a shared booth with Main Street Home Loans at Newton Taiwan Day, where we engaged with attendees, created fun experiences like animal balloons for children, and shared our mission of serving the greater Taiwanese American community. Through conversations and outreach, we highlighted our commitment to fostering connection through professional, social, cultural, and community events, further strengthening visibility and engagement within the broader community.

Newton Taiwan Day is a vibrant celebration of Taiwanese culture, bringing together hundreds of attendees for a day filled with authentic food, live performances, crafts, and family-friendly activities. Now in its 18th year, the event highlights the richness of Taiwanese heritage while creating space for community connection and cultural exchange.

Volunteer w/TAP at the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory Sat. 5/30/2026 10AM-12PM

Come join fellow TAP members in making a difference by volunteering at the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory in Newton, MA on Sat. 5/30/2026! Volunteers will assist with organizing donated clothes so that they can be sent out to children in need.

Cradles to Crayons Mission Statement:

"Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities." (https://www.cradlestocrayons.org/)

After we are finished, we'd love for you to come out and have lunch with us at a local restaurant! Everyone is responsible for paying their own way.

Last weekend, TAP-BOS was proud to co-host with 新英格蘭大波士頓台灣商會 Taiwan Chamber of Commerce of New England - TCCNE a dynamic community and career-focused event that brought together Taiwanese American professionals, students, and business leaders for an afternoon of connection and opportunity. In addition to fostering cross-generational networking, the event offered valuable interview and career development opportunities through recruiting booths, employer engagement, mentorship conversations, and career roundtables. Attendees were able to explore job openings, connect directly with hiring representatives, and gain practical insights on interviewing, professional branding, and navigating today’s evolving job market—reflecting TAP-BOS’s commitment to empowering the next generation through both community and career access.

TAP-BOS is co-hosting with 新英格蘭大波士頓台灣商會 Taiwan Chamber of Commerce of New England - TCCNE to present a first-of-its-kind cross-industry thought leadership and career innovation forum. Leading sponsoring companies—including 鴻海 (Foxconn), 緯創 (Wistron), 英業達 (Inventec), and 廣達 (Quanta)—are actively seeking to hire engineering, business, and administrative talent at all experience levels across both the U.S. and Taiwan. Thank you to all our participants who braved the cold, frigid weather to celebrate Lunar New Year with us at the Station KTV yesterday. It’s so nice to see some new faces and many old friends. Your warmth, energy, and voices made the afternoon unforgettable despite the chill outside. We hope you left with great memories, full hearts, and maybe a song or two still stuck in your head.

Thank you to TAP volunteers that came out and spent the morning of Saturday, January 10th doing kitchen prep at the Pine Street Inn shelter in Boston!

Volunteers sliced sausage links, chopped celery and did their best to hold back tears as they julienne cut through massive bags of onions! 😭

Your hard work in the kitchen truly made a difference. We are all looking forward to giving back to the community more with you throughout the year of 2026!
