Is your teen prepared to lead in an interconnected society?

The AFS Global You Adventurer program is an intensive, 5-week virtual exchange that provides students the unique opportunity to acquire lifelong competencies from home.

Guided by AFS Qualified Facilitators, participants engage in live sessions designed to build trust, confidence, and cultural awareness.

It requires a flexible commitment of just 2-3 hours per week, culminating in a verifiable digital credential for their university applications and future resumes.

🌍 Program Update: Effect+ for the Classroom is wrapping up an incredible 2025-26 cycle!

We are thrilled to celebrate 300 dedicated educators from 51 countries who have completed all chapters of the program — from earning their AFS Global Competence Certificate to bringing SDG-focused global citizenship education directly into their classrooms.

For the final chapter, their students submitted inspiring social impact project ideas to compete for international recognition.

Thanks to the generous support of the Cyril Taylor Charitable Foundation, we will officially select and announce the student winners of the Sir Cyril Taylor Young Leaders Award during our closing ceremony on June 6, 2026.

A massive congratulations to all the educators and students for their hard work — we can’t wait to share the winning projects! 🏆

Give your 14-to-17-year-old the opportunity to expand their worldview without needing to travel abroad. The AFS Global You Adventurer is a 5-week virtual exchange designed to turn screen time into a profound learning experience.

In this expertly guided environment, your teen will collaborate with an international cohort to:

* Develop emotional intelligence and empathy.
* Learn to navigate differences and suspend judgment.
* Build the confidence to communicate across cultures.

Upon completion, participants earn the AFS Global Competence Certificate, a digital credential validated by Credly that can be added to university applications and professional profiles.
