The impact of Figure Skating in Harlem continues long after students leave the ice—and our alumni brought that impact to life throughout the 2026 season.

Through “What’s the Tea?” during I Can Excel Career Week and the Alumni Picnic: Senior Send-Off, alumni shared their experiences, celebrated graduating seniors, and strengthened connections across generations.

Thank you to our 2024–2026 Alumni Board for organizing these meaningful events and creating opportunities for alumni to reconnect and support the next generation of FSH students. Your leadership helped turn shared experiences into a lasting network of encouragement and support.

Applications are now open for the 2026–2028 Alumni Board! We invite FSH alumni to bring their ideas, help shape future events, and continue building this community.

Sport can change the course of a girl’s life.

At Advertising Week NY, Venus Williams spoke with Carson Daly about the power of sport to transform girls’ lives and build community.

Her message connects deeply with the work we do at Figure Skating in Harlem.

Through I Can Excel, girls pair skating with tutoring, academic enrichment, and leadership development.

They learn to navigate challenges, advocate for themselves, and support one another while building skills that carry into school, college, and future careers.

As our new season begins October 13, we’re excited to welcome our students into a community where their voices matter and their potential has room to grow.

30 Years Strong. Building Champions for Life.

Our 2026 Annual Report is here!

Last season, our students brought Olympic-sized dreams to life on the ice, in the classroom, and on the national stage. They explored new subjects from engineering to artificial intelligence, skated across three New York City rinks, and celebrated their creativity in Harlem Homecoming. Following the Emmy nomination of Harlem Ice, students also took the stage as presenters at the awards ceremony.

All six graduating seniors headed to college. Together, they earned 50 acceptances and more than $1 million in scholarships. And 100% of our students advanced to the next grade.

To our students, families, staff, supporters, and partners: thank you for making this year possible. Read the report to see what Harlem heart can achieve.
