📢 Institutions that allow sexual violence to go unchecked will never have the comfort of our silence 📢
Survivors should never have to fight for accountability alone. And across the country, people are showing up in person to make sure they know they aren’t.
Yesterday, for : From the Frat House to the White House, survivors, students, youth organizers, and feminist organizations gathered at rallies, protests, and actions in communities and on campuses nationwide, with more than 150 actions across the US.
In New York City, Team FEMINIST gathered with demonstrators gathered at Foley Square to stand in solidarity with Cornell’s Jane Doe, LSU’s Kendall Francis, Epstein survivors, and all survivors and demand accountability.
At a time when survivors are once again watching powerful institutions decide whether they will be held accountable, showing up matters. It makes solidarity visible. It reminds survivors that people are paying attention, that their experiences have not been forgotten, and that they do not have to demand justice alone.
Feminist movements have always been built through collective action, through people coming together, raising their voices, and refusing to let injustice go unchallenged. Yesterday was a reminder that this work continues, in the streets, on campuses, and wherever people choose to stand alongside survivors.
