Our public lands belong to all of us, and so do the stories they hold.
Right now, efforts from the administration and Congress are working to strip inclusive language and accurate history out of the places we share. But erasing the past does not change who these lands belong to, or who belongs in them.
Join us this Thursday, June 18, at 12:00 PM PT / 1:00 PM MT / 2:00 PM CT / 3:00 PM ET for a conversation on how communities are keeping our history honest, renaming racist place names, and turning belonging, respect, and connection into everyday practice: from programs to policy to grantmaking.
Our speakers are leaders from Justice Outside, Sierra Club, GreenLatinos, and the City of Annapolis. They are paving the way for all of us to claim the freedom to see our full story, and to belong in the places we share.
