At our Future of Fatherhood Summit last year with Equimundo: Center for Masculinities and Social Justice, Chasten Glezman Buttigieg Chasten Glezman Buttigiegng isn’t just a mom’s issue, just as LGBTQ rights aren’t just an LGBTQ issue. They’re family issues. And it’s going to take all of us—parents, allies, policymakers—to protect every kind of family and push for the policies we all need, like paid family leave.

This Pride Month, we’re honoring the LGBTQ parents doing the work and calling in the rest of us to show up—loudly, proudly, and with purpose. 🌈

Next Tuesday, June 23rd, we're bringing No Country for Mothers to The Guthrie for an evening built for this city — because Minnesota has led the way on paid leave and child care, and we're just getting started.

Join us for a screening, a happy hour, and a panel of local leaders who are doing the work.

This film isn't streaming anywhere. The only way to see it is together, in a room like this one — with the people who are going to turn a screening into action.

The mom guilt is so real.

When Hilary Duff spoke on Call Her Daddy about balancing motherhood, career, and her identity, she described something many moms feel: Loving your kids with everything you have, while a shadow quietly forms over your own needs, identity, and joy.

That tug-of-war between loving your children and choosing yourself isn’t selfish. It’s what survival looks like in a culture that was never designed with mothers in mind.
