On Saturday, October 10, Monumental Change and The Art of the Crossfade will create a day-to-night exploration of how history, art, music, and community can shape civic healing and collective imagination 💭
Following the daytime symposium at Xavier University of Louisiana, the exploration continues into the evening at Music Box Village with The Art of the Crossfade, a live mixtape concert experience presented by Josh Kun and J.PERIOD.
Using the DJ crossfader as a framework, the evening brings different histories, cultures, and perspectives into conversation through music, exploring how they can coexist and create something new.
Featuring Mumu Fresh, Daniel Crawford, Flagboy Giz, Leyla McCalla, Pell, and more New Orleans artists to be announced.
Who gets to tell America’s story?
Join us from 6–10 PM on October 10 to explore the answer.
Admission is FREE with RSVP, and all ages are welcome.
