Following the St. Francis Day service, join us for an afternoon of fellowship and community out on the Pulpit Green. All humans and pets are welcome to attend as we celebrate the beauty of creation!

Pet blessings by Cathedral and Diocesan clergy will be available, as well as free pet portrait photography.

In the event of inclement weather, the festivities will take place inside the Cathedral after the St. Francis Day service.

To celebrate the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi’s passing, the cathedral is reimagining the popular tradition and presenting a breathtaking Gaia installation. While the formal procession of animals is no longer part of the ceremony, all pets and their human companions are welcome inside the cathedral, and the afternoon fair and pet blessings are held rain or shine, outside on the cathedral grounds.

The day begins with a worship service at 10:30am, the Pet Blessings begin outside as soon as the service has concluded, at approximately 12pm.

We have a new blog post and video on our website showing the first few days of school. Meta/Facebook has a new policy that only allows two links a month on a page like ours unless we sign up to pay them. Check the comments for a link in a few minutes.

Parent Orientation is coming up on Friday September 25th 5-6 pm via Zoom. Facebook now does not allow pages like ours to post more than 2 links a month unless we pay them $500 a month. Link will be in the comments field.
