✨ Announcing a New Touring Partnership: LubDub x 55B Productions ✨

LubDub Theatre Co joins forces with Jenny Tibbels of 55B Productions to launch the U.S. and international tour of The Magic Bullet. The show is now booking, with several engagements already confirmed for 2027.

The Magic Bullet traces the historical collision between French colonial ambition and Algerian Sufi mysticism, where the illusions of empire meet forms of knowledge they cannot contain.

Presenters cultivating adventurous contemporary performance, formally inventive theatre, and decolonial perspectives: We’d love to meet you.

The Magic Bullet is created by Caitlin Nasema Cassidy, Robert Duffley, Noelle Ghoussaini, Geoff Kanick, Ismail Khalidi, and Mohamed Yabdri. It is developed by LubDub Theatre Co and co-commissioned by Pangea World Theatre in partnership with the Arab American National Museum, Noor Theatre, and National Performance Network. Production support is provided through the National Theater Project, a program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, and the National Performance Network Artist Engagement Fund.

This year marks a DECADE of LubDub! To celebrate, we’re sharing 10 of our favorite moments from 2025.

10 for 10 | Moments 8 & 9

❽ On our trip to WA with the New England Foundation for the Arts, Caitlin and Geoff connected with other artists in the National Theater Project grantee cohort, went for long runs along the northern coastline, and had the privilege of sharing ceremony with the Lower Elwha Klallam and Jamestown Tribes.
❾ Meanwhile, Robert journeyed to NOLA for the National Performance Network conference on “Stormshaping: Adaptation, Resistance, Reimagination.” The conference spotlighted the ways arts organizations around the country are adapting to threats of authoritarianism and climate crisis.
