Help Us Find a New Home for Catalyst Theater Company

Dear Patrons,

We have recently learned that when DuCret reopens later this year, the space we have used for our productions for the past four years will be repurposed for classroom use and, unfortunately, will no longer be available to us.

We are therefore actively searching for a new, long-term home for Catalyst Theater Company in Plainfield, and we would greatly appreciate your help.

We are looking for approximately 4,000–6,000 square feet of adaptable space—such as a warehouse, storefront, commercial building, or similar property—where we can move forward.

If you know of a property that might be suitable, or know someone who may have a space available, please let us know. Even a lead or suggestion could make a tremendous difference.

Please send all suggestions to:

[email protected]

Thank you in advance for your ideas, and for your continued support of Catalyst Theater Company. We hope to find a new home that will allow us to continue bringing live theater to our community for many years to come!

Warmly,

Catalyst Theater Company

If you’re not starting something because you think you “need” something else (money, space, etc), you’re not being creative enough (according to Arthur Ashe).

On July 3, a storm damaged the historic duCret Center of Art, leaving about $30,000 in repairs. Home to Catalyst Theater Company, duCret is a vital hub for creativity, education, and live theater in our community.
We’re asking our friends, patrons, and neighbors to consider joining us in making a donation to help restore this special place. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help ensure that duCret continues to be a home for artists, performers, students, and audiences for years to come.
Thank you for helping preserve this remarkable community treasure.

Such a tremendous turnout for callbacks for Ride The Cyclone coming your way this October Can’t wait for you to meet the 7 artists who were cast. Everyone was so good. Alas, only 7 roles to fill. Thank you all for turning out with your tremendous talents.
