Memorial Day Reflection

Today, the Brothers of Rho Epsilon Sigma Chapter, the NYC Sigmas, pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting the freedoms we enjoy each day will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and loved ones this Memorial Day, let us also reflect on the true meaning of this day and pay tribute to those who gave all in service to our nation.

💙🐻 Yesterday, we were proud to serve as a co-sponsor alongside our Chapter Brother, Thomas Silvera, and the Elijah-Alavi Foundation for an impactful Build-A-Bear Awareness Event in recognition of Food Allergy & Asthma Awareness Month.

It was truly inspiring to see families, children, and community members come together for an afternoon centered on awareness, education, support, and joy. Events like these remind us of the importance of service, advocacy, and uplifting our communities through meaningful partnerships.

We commend Brother Thomas Silvera and the Elijah-Alavi Foundation for their continued dedication to bringing awareness to food allergies and asthma while creating safe, memorable experiences for children and families.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this amazing initiative. Together, we continue to make a difference through brotherhood, service, and community impact. 💙🤍

Empowering Future Leaders Scholarship

Rho Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is proud to support the next generation of leaders. We are awarding two $1,000 scholarships to outstanding, NYC high school, graduating male seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service.

Eligibility Requirements

- NYC high school senior
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Accepted to a college, university, or trade school
- Demonstrated leadership and community involvement
- Essay and two letters of recommendation

Application Window: May 1 – May 31

On behalf of the Rho Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came out last night in support of our 3rd Annual IMPACT Essentials Drive.

Your presence, generosity, and commitment to service truly made this event a success. Because of YOU, our chapter collected over 3,000 essential items to support men and women in need across New York City.

We also want to sincerely thank those who donated items and contributed financially to this initiative. Every donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
