Fountain House today announced the appointment of five new members to its board of directors: Erica Coe, David-Henry Bennett, Vesper Moore, Rebecca Otto and Anne Williams-Isom.
The new directors bring deep experience across global health, public systems, mental health and disability rights advocacy, nonprofit leadership, public finance, government accountability, and community-based service delivery. Their expertise will support Fountain House as it works to expand access to proven, voluntary, community-based solutions that improve health, increase opportunity, and end social and economic isolation for people living with serious mental illness.
“On behalf of Fountain House, I am thrilled to welcome Erica, David-Henry, Vesper, Rebecca and Anne to our board of directors,” said Ken Zimmerman, CEO of Fountain House. “Their leadership, lived and professional experience, and commitment to systems change will strengthen our work to ensure that people living with serious mental illness have the community, opportunity and support they need to thrive.”
“Fountain House is fortunate to welcome five leaders whose experience and commitment match the scale of our ambition,” said Gregory Baecher, chair of the Fountain House Board of Directors. “As we expand our national impact, their leadership will strengthen the clubhouse movement and help us forge the partnerships needed to meet the urgent needs of people living with serious mental illness.”
