AMT Theater You want to be in the World Series, the Super Bowl, you want to win an Academy Award, an Emmy, a TONY. And we want to do cabaret because, well, it's just fun.

🎭 Midtown Manhattan Off-Broadway theater - new plays & musicals, film, film festival, youth theater, cabaret, festivals, readings AMT THEATER, and AMT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

AMT has basically two goals.

1) One is to move shows on to Broadway - not because Broadway is the absolute definitive mark of excellence in theater, but because if you're a professional, you want to be at the top. It gives you something to strive for and it pushes you to extraordinary lengths. So yes, we want to move a show onto Broadway, but we also want something perhaps even more significant.

2) We want to make a difference in people's lives. We want to do new shows, to encourage new writers and directors. We want to do children's shows, to get the young people involved at an early age. We want to work with other professionals outside of the country, like our spectacular successes with acclaimed director Mauricio Cedeno and the amazing artists of Guadalajara, Mexico. We want to serve as a regional theater to the people in our immediate area, to draw on their energy and solicit their opinions, because without our audience, we are nothing. AND...

We expanded in 2024 with our Inaugural AMT International Film Festival which was open to all filmmakers and screenwriters. AMT believes in diversity and in new voices. We are so excited about our foray into the film festival world right from our vibrant Hell's Kitchen / Broadway / Times Square area! With a fear that she might lose “the girls,” she takes them out for one last hurrah—after all, a cancer diagnosis means only one thing: Call your ex’s and try to get laid. And does Valerie succeed? Is there a “happy” ending? But wait...then she gets a brain tumor! Discover Valerie’s quest to survive cancer four times. An empowering and true story of inspiration for anyone facing ANY adversity in their own lives—not just from cancer! With plenty of laugh-out-loud, heartwarming moments.

The award-winning The Pink Hulk play has been accepted into nearly 60 play festivals worldwide since its 2016 debut and has been performed in over 25 cities, including tours in England, Finland, Iceland, and Sweden. Debuting The Pink Hulk in 2016. A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Manhattan, her credits include the Off-Broadway production of A Stoop on Orchard Street, Cookie in Rumors and Claudia Shear’s Blown Sideways Through Life. Valerie received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award: Resilience in Action from the Biden Administration for her patient advocacy work and also contributes to panel discussions through The Pink Hulk and has been the keynote for cancer organizations globally.
