(Chris) Just heard that KUNLE MWANGA passed. We had a fair bit of contact during prep for the first Eric Dolphy festival, in 2014. He connected us to Richard Davis, who appeared twice for Seed Artists and joined our advisory board.

This promo is from a series that Kunle produced in ‘74 or ‘79, I think, based on the dates. He had it in his apartment at Wesleyan, Check out that lineup. Whew.

Thank you to our partners at the library and to so many old and new friends for packing the auditorium. First of many Jazz Library concerts. Go check out the collection on the second floor. It’s a gem.
