Boris Pushkarev, former Vice President for Planning at RPA, died on May 19 at the age of 96.

A leader at RPA for over 30 years, Boris was a central intellectual figure for RPA's work. His work — including "Urban Space for Pedestrians," "Public Transportation and Land Use Policy," and "Urban Rail in America" — were groundbreaking reports on mass transit and the public realm

Jeff Zupan, Boris' friend and mentee, paid tribute to Boris' life and work on our website: https://bit.ly/4fcd5Ub
