🎥 Last week we attended the Tribeca Film Festival to celebrate Reel Change awardee Shao Jean and her work on the score she produced for the documentary Retrieval, through the support of Reel Change.

Reel Change is a New Music USA program that supports developing composers who are creating music for film though targeted grants and high-impact mentorship. Moments like this screening are a powerful reminder of how programs like Reel Change help artists grow their practice, share their work with wider audiences, and bring new musical voices into conversation across our communities.

Reel Change is powered by SEASAC and composer Christophe Beck with additional sponsorship from Sonos.

This was a video an awardee shared with us that we didn't want to keep to ourselves. We are often behind-the-scenes, and messages like this from our community are everything. Thanks for the generous words, Kayla!
