Happy Hangeul Nal (한글날)! Today we celebrate Hangeul (한글), the Korean alphabet created by King Sejong the Great (세종대왕) to make reading and writing accessible to all. We hope our campers will put their Korean into practice today by using the words and phrases they learned at camp! 🇰🇷

Camp Naru wishes you a happy Chuseok! To celebrate the Korean mid-autumn festival, here are some of our favorite memories learning about Korean culture at camp, from kimbap making to traditional drumming. We hope you have a joyful Chuseok full of delicious food and memories!

Thank you, Camp Naru Community 🧡

Year after year, it’s our community that brings Camp Naru to life. Each summer gives us the chance to reconnect, welcome new faces, strengthen friendships, and create memories together.

To our campers, families, staff, sponsors, special guests, and workshop instructors, thank you for being part of our community and for making another summer at Camp Naru so unforgettable.

We loved sharing another summer with you and hope you’ll carry a little piece of Camp Naru with you until we’re all together again.

See you next summer! 🌱✨

Thank you to our 2026 Camp Naru Staff! 🌟

Another summer has come and gone, but we’re still holding onto all the moments that made Camp Naru 2026 so special.

Thank you for every early morning, late night, helping hand, shared laugh, and moment of care you gave to our campers and one another. You brought so much heart into one short week and helped create the friendships, memories, and sense of belonging that make Camp Naru what it is.

The week may go by quickly, but the impact of this community lasts far beyond camp. Thank you for making Camp Naru feel like home and giving our campers a summer to remember.

Until next summer! 💚🧡

🌳At Camp Naru, celebrating Korean American identity is at the heart of everything we do.

Through LEAD, our campers explore their culture, reflect on their experiences and identity, and build a strong sense of belonging alongside their peers. These moments from last summer remind us of our community and the joy of celebrating who we are together! 🇰🇷

We’re excited to reveal the winning design of our 2026 Camp Naru T-shirt Competition!

👏 Congratulations to Ellie, whose design beautifully captured this year's theme of Belonging.

Her design features Korea's national tree, the sonamu or pine tree, forming a heart around both a Korean and American flag. Deep roots, growth, and the strength and resilience of Korean American culture is symbolized through this design.

Thank you to everyone who submitted your amazing designs and we're ready to see everyone rocking Ellie's shirt this summer!
