Yesterday was International Day of the Girl! Beyond chores and expectations, girls deserve space to lead, connect, learn, and play. Through NetGirls Zambia, we use sport to build confidence and leadership giving girls a space that's entirely their own to grow, both on and off the field.

Investing in girls today means stronger, healthier, more resilient communities tomorrow. That's what International Day of the Girl is all about. 💛🏐

Child Protection awareness in our Primary Network Schools. 🏫

Safety is the foundation everything else is built on. Across our schools, clear, visible messaging reinforces a culture where students, staff, and communities know that every child has the right to feel safe.

A safe school is a learning school. 💛

Technology alone doesn't transform a classroom. But paired with the right support, it can change everything.

PEAS brings technology-supported learning to rural communities combined with hands-on, classroom-based coaching for teachers to strengthen how lessons are actually taught.

The results: students in these schools made 55% greater progress in math and 103% greater progress in literacy than peers in comparison schools. By the end of Grade 1, they were an estimated 12 months ahead in numeracy and 22 months ahead in literacy.

Technology is a tool. Teachers are the difference. 💻📚

Empowering girls through interactive life skills sessions ahead of today's NetGirls games in our NetGirls Zones! ⚽

Before the whistle even blows, our NetGirls Zones are buzzing with confidence-building, mentorship, and life skills sessions because sport is about so much more than the game.

This is what it looks like to invest in girls on and off the field.

We believe in evidence, not assumptions.

An independent randomized controlled trial by the American Institutes for Research found that just 14 months after enrolling, our students saw:

📈 15% increase in enrollment
📖 103% increase in literacy scores
🔢 55% increase in numeracy scores

For 8 years, Luke has been a head teacher at a government school in Lawra, Ghana. With support from PEAS and the Savannah Education Trust, he's built new skills to support his own teachers:

"This project has built my capacity to support my teachers. I can conduct quality lesson observations and provide coaching and feedback to my teachers devoid of fault-finding so that they can improve their lesson delivery."

Better-supported teachers mean better classrooms for every student. This is what local leadership looks like. 🇬🇭

An extra year of primary school can increase a girl's future wages by 10–20%. But too many girls drop out at the exact point they transition from primary to secondary school.

That's why we go beyond the classroom with girls' clubs and mentorship, menstrual health education, safeguarding support, and our NetGirls Zambia initiative using sport to build confidence and leadership.

Educated girls marry later, raise healthier families, and lead stronger communities. Investing in girls changes everything. 💛

🏅 Meet Team PEAS runner Matthew Almansi!

This November, Matthew is taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon to help ensure every child has access to not just education, but quality education.

Today, PEAS supports more than 250,000 students across Zambia, Uganda, and Ghana by building great schools and strengthening public education systems so more children can thrive.

Matthew believes every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and shape their own future. Every mile he runs helps make that vision possible.

Join us in cheering Matthew on as he races for a future where every child has the chance to succeed.🏅

Did you know? Students learn up to 40% faster when lessons include interactive or hands-on activities compared to lecture-only teaching.

That’s why our classrooms prioritize engagement, participation, and creativity because learning should be active, not passive.

Access to school is not the same as access to quality education. We work to make sure every child has both.

We support more than 300,000 students each year across Zambia, Uganda, and Ghana building and running great schools, and helping governments strengthen public education systems.

The results speak for themselves: in Zambia, our most recent Grade 7 students achieved a 98% pass rate, compared to a district average of 71%.

This is the power of quality education. 💛
