Krystyna’s story reflects what can happen when resilience meets meaningful support.
A creative professional in Ukraine for over a decade, Krystyna arrived in Paris determined to start again. Through our mentorship program, she connected with a mentor from a member company, , who championed her career journey and shared concrete guidance on topics like the local job market, CV writing, and interview tactics. Notably, Krystyna’s mentor also helped her to build a professional network in France – which led to an opportunity at another Tent France member company, !
As we mark International Women’s Day, we’re reminded that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. We’re proud of the 100+ companies in Europe that have stepped up and mentored refugee women through Tent’s programs over the years – creating opportunities and mobilizing their employees to provide professional guidance and hands-on support as their mentees navigate barriers to employment and restart or grow in their careers.
