Tropical smoothie Cafe (932 Flatbush Ave) is having a Grand Opening this Saturday, June 13th.

Their store opens at 8am with a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 11am. First 50 people in line get a super special treat!

Shine a Light on Flatbush is a lighting project being developed by the Church-Flatbush Community Alliance, the Queens Lighting Collective, NYC Small Business Services, CAMBA,Inc., MTA and The Local Center. The Neighborhood 360° Program was created by the New York City Department of Small Business Services to identify, develop, and launch commercial revitalization projects in partnership with local stakeholders.

“We want more shoppers. We want more people to spend money, not drive through,”

Thank you to our board member Casey Martinez for representing the Church-Flatbush Community Alliance at the recent canvassing session.

Faster, more reliable buses make it easier for shoppers to get to our Flatbush businesses; 70% of people who go to Flatbush for shopping, eating or entertainment destinations use the bus, as discovered in a 2024 Pratt Center survey.
