🔸 Hadassah New Orleans will be holding an incredible program on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 6 pm to 9 pm ET, highlighting the lifesaving work of transplant medicine at Hadassah Medical Center and here in the US. The Director of Solid Organ Transplantation from Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center, Abed Khalaileh, MD, PhD, will be a panelist at the program.

This critical legislation, led by Congressman Dan Goldman and Rep. Mike Lawler, will help protect Jewish students on campus, secure Jewish institutions and communities facing attacks and hold major online platforms accountable for antisemitic content.

Shared via Hadassah - When Eleanor Roosevelt visited our Poughkeepsie chapter in 1952, she praised Hadassah for doing "so much good work both here and in Israel."
By then, she had been widowed for seven years and was at the height of her public life: serving as US delegate to the United Nations General Assembly and gracing the cover of Time that same year.
Her connection to Hadassah ran deep: in 1949, she had accepted our very first Henrietta Szold Award at the Waldorf Astoria.
This , we reflect on the strong ties that are a part of our shared history. 💙
