This week’s wisdom comes from Loretta Fralin-Rapp, author of Confessions for the Narrow Road: A Journey with My Mom.

In today’s reflection, Loretta shares one of her favorite confessions of faith, inspired by Proverbs 3:5–6:

“I choose to acknowledge God in every way I take, believing that He knows what’s best for me, and He will show me the best road to follow.”

Loretta reminds us that faith often means asking a difficult question:

“Is this what You have for me?”

Trust requires surrender, but it also requires confidence that God’s plans are greater than our own. Stay tuned, more is coming from her!! Thank you, Loretta for your contributions to the Ball of Wisdom.

What does trusting the journey look like in your life today?

✨ Welcome to Wisdom Wednesday ✨

This week, we’re featuring Annamaria Ananiadis, career mentor and leadership advocate, whose passion for mentorship and knowledge-sharing continues to inspire women at every stage of their careers.

Throughout her journey, Annamaria has experienced firsthand the impact that mentors can have—not only in opening doors, but in providing perspective, encouragement, and the confidence to grow.

As she reminds us:

“The true power of mentorship lies in the one-to-one connection—a relationship built on trust, support, and a commitment to helping others reach their potential.”

Research from Mentor Canada found that young adults who had a mentor during childhood or adolescence are 59% more likely to be working or studying than those who did not. It’s a powerful reminder that investing in people has a lasting impact.

Thank you, Annamaria, for sharing your wisdom with our community.

This week, we’re highlighting Katherine Wintsch: founder and CEO of The Mom Complex, author of Slay Like a Mother, and a valued supporter of Mothers to Daughters and the Ball of Wisdom. 📚📚

During our recent conversation with Francine Mbvoumbo, Katherine shared powerful insights on self-doubt, ambition, leadership, and redefining success.

One idea especially resonated with us:

“You can absolutely have it all—but you must determine what your all is.”

In a world that constantly pushes us to do more, achieve more, and become more, Katherine reminds us that success isn’t about chasing someone else’s definition. It’s about building a life that reflects your own values.

Thank you, Katherine, for sharing your wisdom with our community.

What does success look like to you?

Some of the most meaningful conversations don’t happen on a stage… they happen around a table.

Recently, beloved leaders of our Mothers to Daughters community gathered for an evening of connection, conversation, and shared wisdom across generations.

Over good food and even better company, we talked about leadership, career journeys, personal growth, and the lessons we carry with us as women navigating different seasons of life.

At Mothers to Daughters, we believe mentorship doesn’t always look formal. Sometimes it begins with a conversation, a question, a story, or a seat at the table.

These moments remind us that community is one of our greatest sources of strength—and that we all have something to learn and something to share.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received from another woman?
