Some of my favorite moments over the years. The faces, the smiles, the food, the love, and the memories that remind me why we do this in the first place.

Every picture and video has a story behind it, and this is just a small piece of what iRock Charities Thanksgiving giving means to me. Now we’re getting ready for our 16th Annual Thanksgiving Food-Giving, and I want to make this year bigger and better for the families who count on us.

More than 100 dads and father figures showed up at P.S. 360 for Bring Your Dad to School Day.

And while it was great to see so many men come out, the real story is that this isn’t something that only happens on Bring Your Dad to School Day.

Any given morning, you’ll see over 100 men bringing their kids to school. Dads, grandfathers, uncles, family friends, and the men who have stepped up to be there for these children. That’s what makes 360 different. The men at 360 understand how important it is to be present.

I’ve personally experienced it. My daughter is in 5th grade and this is our last year at 360, so it’s definitely bittersweet.

I love this school. I love the principal, the staff, the dads, the parents, the volunteers, and the entire 360 community. There’s something special about the way everybody comes together for these kids.

I know my daughter is moving on next year, but I’m not going anywhere. I’ll definitely be back around volunteering and supporting the school whenever I can.

And this year, for the first time since my daughter has been at 360, I finally won the raffle! lol 😂

Bring Your Dad to School Day was special, but at 360, showing up isn’t just for one day.

Queens, come outside! On Saturday, August 29th, we’re giving away FREE bookbags, school supplies, bikes, canned goods, community resources, live performances, music, and vibes courtesy of DJ Southside, and more at Rufus King Park!

Plus, there will be Boost Mobile activations, health and epilepsy resources, resource bags, and surprises for the whole family.

This is more than a tournament. It’s a full day of basketball, bounce houses, food, drinks, back-to-school giveaways, school supplies, book bags, sneakers, community resources, entertainment, and family fun. A day where the community comes together to enjoy themselves while supporting a greater purpose.

Sunday is about celebrating the people who make a difference. We’ll honor local heroes, recognize community champions, and celebrate the impact being made throughout our communities with awards, music, good vibes, and great company.

But the impact goes far beyond this weekend.

This is iROCK Charities’ only fundraiser of the year. The support from this weekend helps us feed thousands of families during Thanksgiving and provide toys, resources, and holiday support for children during Christmas.

Every person who shows up, gives, sponsors, donates, or supports the mission helps us continue giving back.

THE WEEKEND MAY END. THE MISSION DOESN’T.

Pull up to the BOOST THE BLOCK Pre-Mother’s Day Celebration at P.S. 050 for a day full of food, music, giveaways, games, and community fun for the whole family.

We will have bounce houses, cotton candy, popcorn, healthy meals, family competitions, mental health activities, vendors, raffles, and activations throughout the day.

We’re also showing love to the amazing mothers in our community with 150+ Mother’s Day gifts and special raffles throughout the entire event.

PLUS 3 lucky winners will walk away with their own BLOCK PARTY, A 65” Smart TV, and A Smartphone!

And that’s just a few of the prizes. We’ll have plenty of other raffles and giveaways happening ALL DAY.
