For Animals Inc. NYC-based TNR group focused on spay-neuter & alleviating companion-animal suffering & homelessness History: For Animals is owned by Theresa Samsingh Bachu.

For Animals is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit animal welfare organization based in Queens, NYC. Since its inception, For Animals’ TNR program has helped many cats across colonies, and educated dozens of caretakers about proper care for feral cats. The For Animals adoption program has also placed a multitude of homeless cats and kittens in loving, permanent homes while raising awareness about companion animal homelessness and the importance of spay/neuter. Location: The main shelter (a small one in a converted garage with a catio) is in South Ozone Park Queens. The board comprises of Theresa and her brother. All the people who help out tirelessly with daily tasks are volunteers who do this along with their regular jobs. The volunteers run the organization's social media, answer emails, help with finding fosters, do adoption checks, make fundraiser videos, write the newsletters, and much more. Note: For Animals Inc does not take in animals from the public; it is strictly a TNR/adoption organization and finds homes for cats they rescue.

Did someone say Purrfect kitten 🐱
Meet Ash 🩶
This absolutely adorable 9 week old kitten was found in a construction site in a Queens NYCHA project. As soon as the woman who found him picked him up, he was purring in her arms 😻
Ash is super playful, sweet and cuddly. He loves nap times with his humans and playtime with the kitties. He is in a foster home with a large dog, and while not a huge fan yet, he is totally fine with her.
Ash is negative for FIV and FeLV, and will be neutered when he’s a little older. He is ready for his furever home 🏠

Lea is an outgoing cat whose daring and boundless nature originally led her rescuers to believe she was a boy, ready to take on the world! And so, she went by Leo for a while until someone realized that the daredevil-ish guy was actually an audacious gal! (The whole thing is giving Mulan, actually.)
Since the name change, Lea has been flourishing in her fosters’ home. Ever the household entertainment, her fosters say that she brings plenty of energy and personality to every interaction, making her a fascinating and fun little companion.

Lea is one years old. She is negative for FIV and FeLV, spayed, and vaccinated.

Does this little ball of excitement sound like she might be the right fit for you?
