Paddy Runs for Haiti

Paddy Runs for Haiti You donate 1 Dollar = I run 1 Mile. Together we help kids in Haiti. Here’s how it works: for every dollar you donate to the foundation, I have to run a mile.

Simple, isn’t it? You’ll get a shout out here on the Paddy Runs for Haiti page so the world knows what a great humanitarian you are plus I write a description of your miles and my experience running them. I’ll also keep everyone updated on the Foundation's work in Haiti.

100% of any donation goes toward the Foundation's programs. You'll be funding a child's school tuition, maybe buying

a book or two, or perhaps putting a meal on the table at the Foundation's transitional home for girls. The foundation has secured private funding for all administrative expenses. You won't be paying for new ball point pens, a grant-writer's overtime, or bagels for the office on friday morning.

The Finish Line
That’s right, friends; we finally made it!
Three years ago, after the earthquake in Haiti, we made a deal that for every dollar you donated to relief, I would get out and run one mile. We found a way to help people in a bad situation...

Boston....again.

Thank you to everyone who called, texted or sent me a Facebook message with concern for my parents and me. (we're fine) Thank you all for your concern. It was humbling to see just how many people care about me. Normally, this would be a day of celebration, but not this year; just sad. My heart is broken by this.

In light of what happened yesterday, though, I have never been prouder to be a runner. We are a caring and humanitarian-minded bunch of people; one section of the many who ran in to help the injured after the bombs went off.

We are also stubborn as hell. We'll run the thing again next year, just to show 'em.

Be well, friends.

Friends, there’s only a marathon’s worth of miles left to run. Your generosity and support have been overwhelming and I’m amazed when I think of the all good that we’ve accomplished together. But every good thing comes to an end...
