The purple ribbon is more than a symbol. It represents courage, survival, remembrance, and hope.

Throughout Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our sxsters across Sigma Sigma Rho proudly wear purple ribbons to stand in solidarity with survivors, honor those impacted by domestic violence, and raise awareness within our communities.

May every ribbon serve as a reminder that survivors are seen, believed, supported, and never alone 💜

Today, our sxsters across Sigma Sigma Rho wear purple in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence and in remembrance of those whose lives have been impacted.

Purple represents courage, strength, and hope. Together, we use our voices to raise awareness, support survivors, and continue advocating for a future free from domestic violence.

We wear purple because every survivor deserves to be seen, heard, supported, and safe 💜

This October, Sigma Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc. stands together to raise awareness, uplift survivors, and continue important conversations surrounding domestic violence and prevention.

As Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention is our national philanthropy, our sxsters remain committed to using our voices, sisterhood, and service to educate our communities and advocate for change 🦋

This October, checkout each chapter and colonies Sigma for Society Week, where they will come together to honor our philanthropy through awareness, advocacy, education, and support 💜

Throughout this month and beyond, we encourage everyone to learn the signs, support survivors, respect boundaries, and help create communities where everyone can feel safe.

𝗪𝗲, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘅𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗥𝗵𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗰., 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦*𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Recent events has put a spotlight on the injustices that come from an unsafe campus environment that has been perpetuated by campus administrations and Greek Life culture.  Our Sxsterhood has been built with the intentions of creating a safe space for all women, and we strive to continue that legacy.

We assure that our Sxsterhood will always be a safe space for all students and that our sisters will work to create a better environment on every campus we are a part of.
